Your Support Matters
Care and nurturing for the profoundly disabled
Our Adult Daycare Centre provides a safe, nurturing space for individuals with severe and profound disabilities. While not a residential facility, it offers essential care, training, and development opportunities that promote learning, physical well-being, and stimulation.
This centre plays a vital role in supporting families by offering respite care while ensuring that every individual receives the guidance and attention they need. Our goal is to help each person live a meaningful and fulfilling life, encouraging dignity, self-reliance, and a sense of belonging in the community.
With a focus on individual needs, we create an environment where everyone is valued and given the opportunity to grow at their own pace, all within a caring and supportive setting.
Development and care in a safe environment
Our Child Daycare Centres provide a safe and nurturing space for children with physical and intellectual disabilities. These non-residential facilities focus on education, physical development, and stimulation, ensuring that each child receives the care and support they need to thrive.
We believe that every child is unique and deserves the opportunity to develop their skills in a dignified and empowering environment. Our centres not only focus on the well-being of the children but also support caregivers by offering education, training, and guidance, helping them play an active role in disability advocacy.
With the help of dedicated professionals, our programmes are carefully designed to promote learning, therapeutic support, and personal growth, ensuring that every child reaches their full potential.
Service delivery in communities
Peer supporters are working in the field and serve as direct and intermediary between the person with the disability and the social worker/social auxiliary worker by strengthening service delivery in different communities.
Home based support for caregivers
Respite care is designed to give caregivers, who often provide unpaid care for family members with disabilities, a much-needed break. Mossel Bay APD provides In-home respite care where the caregiver goes to the person with a disabilities home to provide care and supervision.
